Why Soy Wax?
Soy wax is a natural and non toxic alternative to paraffin wax, a wax frequently used by big box companies. Soy wax also burns slower and clean which results in less soot.Â
Why Is My Candle Not Smooth After I Burn It?
This is a common trait of all soy waxes, caused by the melt pool cooling unevenly when the flame is blown out. This does not affect the performance of your candle.Â
How Can I Repurpose My Jar?
When 1/4" of the wax remains, discontinue use of candle. If there is a little bit of wax left, we recommend the "oven method" - place your candle in a warm oven and allow the wax to liquify (when removing the jar use an over-mitt) Carefully discard wax and wash your jar with dish soap. Now you can use your jar as you please.Â
